I want to be a baseball player

Yesterday we went shopping. First, we went to typical American supermarket. I bought a lot of snacks for my friends there. I was surprised that there were such big meat. One piece was twice the size of my face!! After that we went to Target. There were many kinds of things such as clothes, shoes, food, toys, furniture and so on. I bought some accessories and I had a good time. Then we went to batting practice. I really enjoyed it!! Senpai and Hippo taught us how to play it but I couldn’t do it well and I felt frustrated. I will go to a batting center in Japan and practice hard!! I may be able to hit homerun next year. Afterward I spoke with Tomoko and Emily about our future. It was a meaningful time. I am glad to meet AGU members, mentors and teachers. This experience will be my precious memories. Thank you very much!!

a dream place

Yesterday, we went to the Capitol and the White House. I had been looking forward to visiting there the most. The Capitol was so big and beautiful. There were so many paintings and bronze statue and I felt as if I were in a castle. White House was put a fence around the garden .So we could see it from far away but I was so excited. In the evening, Joe showed us many pictures which he took in many countries such as Japan, Italy, China and so on. It was interesting for me. I want to visit many countries some day.

Nikki's house was neverland

Yesterday we went to Nikki’s house. Her house was so big and beautiful and her family was friendly. I played there wii, billiard, pinball and so on. Kyoko and Masahiro taught me how to play billiard and I practiced but I couldn’t play it well X-( Dinner was so good!! I ate a hotdog, corn, chips, seafood salad, potato salad…. After that I went outside and talk with some friends about many things such as alien and Japanese singer. Emily said she saw an unidentified flying object twice!! It was so funny but I believe her. I want to see it one day. I had very very good time!! Thank you for inviting us!

my happy weekend

On Thursday, we went to the IDB. We had a very good lunch there. And Japanese staff of IDB gave a lecture to us on the role of the IDB. It was very interesting for me. I want to know more about it, so I’ll send e-mail to them. On Friday, we went to Baltimore. First we were dropped off at the American Visionary Art Museum. The gift shop in it had a lot of funny goods so I was so excited!! Instead of seeing arts, I spent all my time in the gift shop and I bought so many gifts for my family, my friends and myself. At Baltimore, there were many people who wore costumes of Japanese animation. They were so sexy and funny! We took some pictures with them. In the Saturday evening we played volleyball on the campus. Our team won almost games and we were champion! In Sunday evening we also played volleyball and basketball. At that time Tomoko taught me how to serve. I couldn’t it well but it was fun! I want to practice more and more. And basketball was also fun! I had a so good time in my weekend!!

who is mafia??

First, I apologize to Nina because I overslept yesterday. I should endeavor not to do that.
Yesterday we went to Newseum. I saw many things such as picture of 9/ 11 and Pulitzer Prize-winning photographs. They were shocking to me and I feel sad. I thought that I want to and should study about the world more and more. After that we went to Chinatown. We ate delicious Chinese food. I liked it very much! Especially baby corn was very good. After the dinner we went home and played card games with Nikki and her friends. We played mafia and spoon. It was very exciting for me! I had a very good time. I want to know more American games and enjoy playing those.
It had past 7 days since we came here which means we have finished half of this program. I want to learn more about the U.S and enjoy the rest of my Maryland life!!
